This module contains the data used by Module:Hani-sortkey, though it is not accessed directly due to the significant memory impact that that would have. Instead, it is accessed by Module:Hani-sortkey/data/serializer, which converts the data into the string which is actually accessed by the main module. This string is stored at Module:Hani-sortkey/data/serialized.

As of September 2025, the data consists of two integers (from kRSUnicode) separated by a period/full stop. The first is the Kangxi radical for the character, while the second is the number of strokes in the character relative to the number of strokes in the radical. For example, [0x5B57]="39.3" means that 字 (U+5B57 CJK UNIFIED IDEOGRAPH-5B57) is Kangxi radical 39 (子) + 3 strokes. (When kRSUnicode provides multiple values, the first one is used; any apostrophes in it are also removed.)
