This template generates a link to the Trésor de la langue française informatisé on the server of the Centre National de Ressources Textuelles et Lexicales. It takes three optional parameters:

• |1=entry name (เลือกได้) the entry to be linked to. Defaults to the page name. Used for example for terms listed under other entries. For example idioms that are listed under the principal noun or verb in that idiom.
• |etym=1 (เลือกได้) to link directly to the etymology tab. Used for example in etymologies of words (French or derived from French) or in Old and Middle French entries. Specify |nocap=1 to have the template display etymology rather than Etymology.
• |alt=display form (เลือกได้) to display a form other than |1= or the page name.
• |nodot=1 (เลือกได้) to leave out the final dot.
• |subentry= (เลือกได้) to link directly to the numbered tabs of some entries.

Examples

• In trompe-l'œil

|alt= is necessary here because of the URL encoding of œ as oe.

• In monte-en-l'air

{{R:fr:TLFi|monte-en-l'air}}

|1= is necessary here because by default {{PAGENAME}} automatically converts single quotes ' to ' (also applies to the first example). See Manual:PAGENAMEE encoding for more.

• In livre

{{R:fr:TLFi|alt=livre - verb form|subentry=3}}

|subentry= in this case links to the verb form section of livre on the TLFi, even though it is not explicitly numbered.
