Adding Zhuang cognates

Hi, thank you for improving those articles by adding Zhuang cognates. However, I would like you to use the template “cog” with “za” as the language code like in the etymology section in ໝາ (หมา). Would you be able to do that? Thank you. --A.S. (คุย) 20:47, 14 สิงหาคม 2563 (+07)

May I ask? What source of Zhuang do you have? Because some words you wrote earlier did not exist in my sources. I have Sawloih Cuengh Gun (壮汉词汇) for standard Zhuang. (I have entire database.) About southern Zhuang, it is not one language any more and it is then split into many dialects that spell different. Hey man,I am a native south Zhuang speaker,what I made as example is totally base on south Zhuang(Zuojiang river dialect),your dict-Sawloih Cuengh Gun (壮汉词汇) is quiet old enough and only cover north Zhuang words and very little south Zhuang words,I can tell you that North Zhuang is highly influenced by Chinese and quiet a lot native words are replaced by Chinese nowaday,same situation as Nong Zhuang in Vietnam, though Nong Zhuang and south Zhuang can communicate today,but there are still many differences between them from vocabruaries to grammars cause of politically seperate for hundred years,it is not weird you can not find root word from this two websites

I know Sawloih Cuengh Gun is quite old but it is a good source for native words; this is recommended by English Wiktionary community. Wiktionary do not limit new Zhuang words that borrow from Chinese either. What I ask for if there are some publications that users can check back like lexicon or dictionary, not from someone's memory.

Northern Zhuang & southern Zhuang are just a ROUGH classification. You may read Wikipedia article about all classification of w:Zhuang_languages. Standard Zhuang (code 'za') I said refers to Wuming/Yongbei dialect, which is a dialect of northern Zhuang. Nong Zhuang (code 'zhn') is a dialect of southern Zhuang spoken in Wenshan, Yunnan, just north border of Vietnam. But in Vietnam, it has a language called Nùng (code 'nut') instead.

If you want to add some southern Zhuang words, please also specify which dialect they are (see the article), because northern/southern Zhuang itself now does not have the code. I will assume your recent 'southern Zhuang' to be Zuojiang dialect (code 'zzj'). --Octahedron80 (คุย) 11:52, 28 สิงหาคม 2563 (+07)

1. For this I have a pdf backup of 8 books saw mo(สือหมอ) which is scripted in saw ndip and translated in latin Cuengh，if you need please tell me your email，I will mail you soon

PS2 I also have this book: Northern Zhuang-Chinese-Thai-English Dictionary that can double-check entries from Sawloih Cuengh Gun.
